The Welsh Labour Government is committed to providing 30 hours a week of government-funded early education and childcare for working parents of three and four years old, for up to 48 weeks of the year.

Local campaigner Matthew Dorrance has asked Powys County Council’s ruling Cabinet when they would provide families in Powys with this brilliant service.

Matthew says:

“The cost of childcare makes work unaffordable for too many families.

“That’s why the Welsh Labour Government’s funded childcare offer will make a huge difference to families in our community and give children access to services that help them learn and develop.”
