Brecon Beacons National Park Authority are considering a number of local sites as part of the Local Development Plan (LDP) review.

The County Council has put three sites in St John Ward forward for consideration and they are:

– Pontwilym Playing Field,
– land near Maendu Well and
– the Youth Centre site

Matthew Dorrance is urging residents to submit their responses to the National Park Authority by writing to: The Strategy and Policy Team, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority, Cambrian Way, Brecon, LD3 7HP or email: strategy@beacons-npa.gov.uk

The deadline for responding to this consultation is 29th August 2019.

Matthew says: “I will be responding to the consultation and objecting to these three sites being included in the LDP because I think there are more suitable areas to develop housing which won’t mean the loss of our green spaces or buildings which could be run as community facilities.”
