Brecon’s St John Ward Councillor, Matthew Dorrance, has asked Powys County Council’s Cabinet how it plans to support the town to recover from the Coronavirus.

In a series of written questions, the local campaigner asked the Council:

1. What assessment has the Council made of the impact of COVID-19 on historic market towns like Brecon?
2. Coronavirus has damaged communities and our economy. How does the Council plan to support economic development and regeneration to help towns like Brecon build back better?
3. What plans do the Council have to ensure communities recover from the impacts of COVID-19?
