Brecon’s St John Ward Councillor, Matthew Dorrance, has asked Powys County Council’s Cabinet how it plans to support the town to recover from the Coronavirus.
In a series of written questions, the local campaigner asked the Council:
- What assessment has the Council made of the impact of COVID-19 on historic market towns like Brecon?
- Coronavirus has damaged communities and our economy. How does the Council plan to support economic development and regeneration to help towns like Brecon build back better?
- What plans do the Council have to ensure communities recover from the impacts of COVID-19?
Cllr Matthew Dorrance says:
“I’m calling on the Council to support economic development and invest in regeneration to help Brecon build back better.”
